The Directors

Boyd Williams
Managing Director
My name is Boyd and I am married to Trisha and we have three grown up children. I have lived in Southall as Pastor of Southall Baptist Church for over 30 years. Previously I was a missionary in Brazil, establishing a church in the city of Ponta Grossa. I love living in Southall because it is a town of rich cultural diversity. It is a privilege overseeing the 10 various congregations that relate to the Church as they all represent different cultures, languages and people groups. I also enjoy gardening and walking my dog, Ben.

Joyce Rundell
Director for Health and Safety
Following a short spell at the Building Research Station library, I trained at Brighton College of Education as an Infant & Junior teacher. For the first nine years, I taught a range of ages in schools in High Wycombe and Southall, and later worked part-time for fourteen years with groups of children who had special needs. Then I joined West London College in Acton and Southall to teach adults with reading and writing problems. I took up teaching English at Southall School of Languages part time when it opened in 1989, and a few years later became one of the Directors.

Karen Williams
Director for Personnel and Planning
My name is Karen and I am widowed with three children Noah, Hope and Gabriel. Having grown up in Southall I joined the school and worked as Principal for seven years. Taking a break to bring up the children I am now again in the exciting position of working closely with the school, its staff and students. It is such a privilege to help people fulfil their potential through the work of the school.
I enjoy gardening and particularly growing vegetables. I also enjoy looking after our various animals, namely dogs, hens, sheep and pigs!

Rachel Szabo
My name is Rachel and I am a mother and granny. I am the daughter of a methodist minister.
I have always been interested in far off places. As a teenager I met Jesus properly, and asked God to share his heart with me. An interest in nations turned to prayer and love for nations and people who don't know Jesus.
I moved to Southall in 1990 and have been involved in the school in various ways, looking after the accommodation, making friends with students as well as teaching on the leadership course.
I'm artistic and musical and I enjoy being able to express worship to God.

Elizabeth Wright
Having worked within education for some years, Elisabeth has been working with the school for some time.
